- Check for areas of decay (visual)
- Orthodontic screening to suggest type of malocclusion & when treatment should begin
- Periodontal screening that may suggest level of periodontal disease based on probing depths, tooth mobility, wear facets, number & placement of teeth
- Suggest possible treatment that may be required
- Suggest further diagnostics that may be required
